A 14.8V 99Wh, Gold Mount, Mini PAGlink Battery, that can be linked in series with other MPL batteries, in a similar state of charge, combining voltages to power high-voltage equipment. It features an infrared sensor, programmed to read a barcode, applied to the battery mount of high-voltage equipment. As an additional safeguard, a 3-second press of the Cinergy battery display button is required to instigate high-voltage mode.

Away from the barcode, the battery switches to low-voltage mode for charging, or powering 12V equipment. It can be linked to other MPL batteries, regardless of state of charge and rating, to increase capacity/run-time or to increase current draw (up to 12A). Batteries can be hot-swapped for continuous running.

With Cinergy, the same MPL batteries can be used to power both 14V and 28V kit; it’s not possible to accidentally supply 28V to low-voltage equipment; there is no need for 28V battery chargers; and you can fly with the power you need for 28V kit (28V Li-Ion batteries are not permitted on passenger flights).

PAG’s new modular battery design enables an expired cell-pack to be replaced by authorised, local service centres, whilst maintaining the battery’s flight-safety credentials. Case parts and electronic modules can be reused, reducing e-waste for greater sustainability as well as reducing the cost of your next battery.
