A compact, high-power, 2-position, simultaneous V-Mount charger, ideal for location or workshop use. The PL16 can be used to charge individual batteries, or stacks of up to 8 PAGlink or 10 Mini PAGlink batteries on each position, regardless of their rated capacity or state of charge.

At the end of a shoot, simply link your batteries and connect them to the charger. The next day, they will be fully charged and ready to go, without intervention.

The most discharged batteries receive charge first. Each battery’s state of charge is displayed on its individual display. When all the batteries are in a similar state of charge (within 20%) they will charge simultaneously, until fully-charged. Batteries may be left on the charger to top-up until required.

Linked Charging:

Up to 8 PAGlink or 10 Mini PAGlink batteries per channel may be charged, but the two generations cannot be linked. Batteries can be of any rated capacity and in any state-of-charge. Each battery’s state of charge is displayed on its individual display. The most discharged batteries receive charge first. When all the batteries are in a similar state of charge (within 20%) they will charge simultaneously, until fully-charged. Fully charged batteries stop accepting charge automatically and independently of other batteries. Batteries may be left on the charger to top-up until required.

NOTE: The current is shared between the batteries. To charge an individual battery in the fastest time, it is best to connect only that battery to the charger.

Main Charge Program:

Li-Ion Intelligent Parallel Charging program: maximum output 6A at 16.8V (100W approx.). Current is shared between 2 channels.

Recovery Charge Program:

Automatically recovers a Li-Ion battery after it has shut down.

Automatically detects very low battery voltage and initiates a low charge current until voltage has risen enough for normal charging.

User Interface:

The charge status of each PAGlink battery is indicated by its own display. The different stages of the charging process are indicated for each channel on the charger’s LCD screen. The charger is fully automatic in operation.
