MINI PAGLINK BATTERIES ARE AVAILABLE IN 50WH & 99WH CAPACITIES AND IN GOLD MOUNT & V-MOUNT FORMATS

THEY FEATURE ALL THE BENEFITS OF PAGLINK INTELLIGENT LINKING TECHNOLOGY COMBINED WITH A REDUCED FORM FACTOR INCREASED DURABILITY & BUILT-IN OUTPUTS

MORE POWER FOR MORE CAMERAS
Mini PAGlink batteries are designed to power a wider range of cameras. In addition to larger broadcast and digital cinema cameras, their reduced dimensions make them ideal for powering smaller, 4K camcorders, such as the Panasonic EVA1 and Sony FS5. The new, 50Wh capacity MPL50 weighs just 350g and has a low-profile design, ideal for powering handheld camcorders, director’s monitors or audio equipment.

SINGLE POWER SOURCE
The batteries incorporate the 12V and 5V outputs that broadcasters need to power their accessories. This makes Mini PAGlink the ideal single power source for your camera set-up, replacing the multitude of incompatible batteries and chargers that are currently required when broadcasters adopt smaller cameras. In addition, Mini PAGlink is the first battery series to feature output units that can be swapped by the user.

TWO IS BETTER THAN ONE
PAG’s patented linking technology allows battery capacities to be accessed in combination, to provide an increased current draw of up to 12A. This is ideal for powering a set-up that includes multiple accessories. A battery can be added or hot-swapped to ensure that you keep powered-up and never miss a shot. Sharing the current demand between batteries prolongs overall life and provides a better return on investment. Mini PAGlnk batteries are guaranteed for 2 years, with unlimited cycles during that period.

CONFIGURABLE OUTPUTS
Mini PAGlink batteries feature the 12V and 5V outputs that smaller camcorders often lack, and provide a single power source for your entire set-up. Built into the MPL50 battery are a fixed D-Tap output and a removable 2A USB, that can be swapped for a Lemo, Hirose or another D-Tap. This allows you to configure the power source with precisely the outputs you need. The MPL99 features two D-Taps and a removable 2A USB. Mini PAGlink batteries utilise the same output units that are already available for the PAGlink Gold Mount PowerHub.

NASA APPROVED CELLS
The Li-Ion cell selected for Mini PAGlink batteries was also tested by the NASA Battery Workshop, for use on their mission to Europa, one of Jupiter’s moons. NASA found it superior to all the other commercially available cells they tested; it had the best capacity retention after 500 cycles, and the best energy efficiency for a cell with a high-rate capability up to 10A.

RUN-TIME, CAPACITY & DATA
Another unique feature is the high-resolution, numeric display. Two button presses, on-load, provides remaining run-time, for the total of all linked batteries, displayed in hours and minutes. A single press shows available capacity as a percentage. In data mode, useful battery management information such as the number of charge/discharge cycles can be revealed. The batteries also feature automatic digital communication which enables them to display capacity in the camera viewfinder or LCD.

LINK-UP FOR CHARGING
Mini PAGlink batteries can be charged individually or linked using PAGlink chargers as well as those of other manufacturers. Up to 10 batteries, of any capacity, in any-state of charge, can be charged simultaneously on each position. PAG also offers a low-cost, ultra-compact, Micro Charger, which is the ideal travel partner. It can be powered form a variety of 5-20V DC power sources, making it ideal for location use.

MORE MOUNTING POSITIONS
Bush inserts (1/4”) are included on the top of the battery to provide extra positions for mounting accessories to individual or linked batteries.

DURABLE DESIGN
The new batteries are designed to withstand the toughest working conditions. The case is moulded from a resilient and flexible ABS material. The battery features an ergonomic design and a ‘soft- touch’ coated outer band for safer handling and added protection.

MODULAR & SUSTAINABLE
Mini PAGlink batteries are the first to feature PAG’s new modular design concept. This has the dual benefit of making the batteries easier to service locally, and allowing authorised replacement of modules, including the cell-pack, whilst maintaining compliance with UN standards and IATA regulations for flight safety. Certain modules can be reused, contributing towards greater sustainability. PAG also recycles Li-Ion cells in accordance with regulations.

FLIGHT-FRIENDLY
Mini PAGlink batteries have a flight-friendly capacity of 50Wh or 99Wh, and are included in the personal allowance of 20 units per person for Li-Ion batteries, when you fly. All PAG Li-Ion batteries are tested to UN 38.3 standard, by Intertek Group plc, to comply with the IATA Regulations.
